Construction to begin in September 2016 on an 80 acre water park in Currituck County Outer Banks. Located north of the Wright Memorial Bridge minutes to the Outer Banks, the $45 million project is expected to attract 4,500 people a day during tourist season. OBX Waterpark Adventure, LLC, the company developing the project, said the the water park will reflect the theme of the area's coastal and historical heritage. It will include a big wave pool, lazy river, an adventure lagoon, fifty private, wait serviced cabanas and restaurants. A children's adventure area with a double entry wave pool will encompass over two acres of the park. The main attraction will feature a 110-foot waterslide which required approval from the county commissioners. The previous height limit for outdoor recreation was 60 feet.
The park is expected to be open by next summer.

"" 5/5 We loved working with Kelly. She was never pushy or put pressure on us to hurry and settle on a house. Since this was a second home for us on the Outer Banks, Kelly was always available to spend her weekends visiting any newly listed houses that interested us. She was diligent in following thru on everything dealing with the sellers, the loan and the closing. She also offered her opinion and expert advice whenever we needed it which I found very useful. In my opinion she made the whole buying experience perfect for us.""
