Nags Head - The completed beach nourishment project in Nags Head has been successful to date. There could be some residual fall out due to the status of the Oregon Inlet. The inlet is basically closed as the channel is unusually shallow and may need emergency dredging. They are still working on acquiring the funds for this project and are having difficulty getting the dredging equipment in due to the condition of the inlet.
Buxton - The nourishment project is in the works. The county is hoping to have sand put in May 2016.
Duck – A public notice has been issued informing the public that the Town of Duck is applying for the authorization to dredge. Written comments are being accepted by the Corps of Engineers Wilmington District. A public hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th at 7 pm

"Kelly Dean is a consummate professional. She not only found us a home within our budget but also in a quiet, friendly neighborhood that meets our needs. She went above & beyond what one would normally expect a realtor to do. She was instrumental in the sale of our townhouse which enabled us to afford our new home. Relentless in the pursuit of “doing the right thing”, she insured that all parties were satisfied and that all legalities were meticulously adhered to. I would highly recommend Kelly Dean and the firm, Buy the Beach Realty, for any real estate transactions you may be considering."
