Nags Head - The completed beach nourishment project in Nags Head has been successful to date. There could be some residual fall out due to the status of the Oregon Inlet. The inlet is basically closed as the channel is unusually shallow and may need emergency dredging. They are still working on acquiring the funds for this project and are having difficulty getting the dredging equipment in due to the condition of the inlet.
Buxton - The nourishment project is in the works. The county is hoping to have sand put in May 2016.
Duck – A public notice has been issued informing the public that the Town of Duck is applying for the authorization to dredge. Written comments are being accepted by the Corps of Engineers Wilmington District. A public hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th at 7 pm

"Kelly was an ideal real estate agent, representing us as out of town buyers. She listened to our requirements, showed us houses that met our wants and didn't blink an eye when we requested to see ho uses outside of our original specifications. She went out of her way to meet us despite our last minute requests, was upfront about the pros and cons of each house, and provided invaluable information about local building codes, different communities and answered every question we posed. Kelly smoothly moved along the closing process by staying in contact with all the parties involved. She dotted her i's and crossed her t's. We love the house we ultimately bought and would recommend Kelly to anyone buying or selling in the Outer Banks."
